Well these are the shots from Malcolm Dyer's slide collection that I think give interesting detail but have yet to identify the vehicle they belong to.

Although there have been plenty of twin engined bikes at the pod twin engined rails have been few and far between. I like the way that the oil filler/breather fills in between the valve covers.

I'm mildly intrigued as to why Malcolm took this. Way back the Thermo-quad could be regarded as a performance carb and even today it can function against the other 800cfm types but it's not exactly built for adjustment or the most photogenic of the bunch.

As you may guess I'm not a real fan of the aesthetics of the rear engined cars, I've always preferred the engine to be up-front and visible whether it be rails, altereds or funnies. I am aware of the safety issues such as fires and clutch explosions but speaking personally I'd also be thinking about what I was sitting on, you just don't want any type of transmission or prop-shaft problems or diff casing failure. Brave men (and women).

Looking at the grille this could perhaps be from Satan's Toy

Sandwiched between Pluto and the Houndog trailer, and with a distinctive end plate on the blower it's rather obvious. And with Pluto once more and those front wheels it rather has to be the ex-Paula Murphy car

Priddle's John Woolfe Monza shell in the background so my guess is that this is the guts of the car

I think this must be the Keeling and Clayton car.

A chip off the old block? Does anyone have the story on this tough break?

Hounddog in the background, I can see Prior on the scuttle (Dave rather than Roz?)
