Throughout the 1960's and into the early '70's, his cars were uniquely designed and built for beauty and speed. Some of his clients for his custom interior work included Clark Gable, John Wayne and Gary Cooper. His beautiful yellow "Superior Sizzler" was fitted with a 426 cubic inch Hemi motor with famous sea horse logo ever present on the front wing. The car was built on a Woody Gilmore chassis and wrapped in custom Tom Hanna aluminum body work. After traveling with this famed digger to Europe and Italy, Nancy returned home and blasted through a 32-car field at Bakersfield to claim the U.S. Fuel and Gas Championship, while setting a National E.T. record.
